Kristin Pederson Flores is a licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) who focuses on helping clients discover core strengths and achieve greater self-awareness.

Kristin believes that when negative patterns are identified, clients can begin the process of uncovering root causes of dissatisfaction. In a safe and non-judgmental environment, clients can learn new tools and make conscious choices to create healthy relationships and improve overall well-being. Kristin looks holistically at the whole person through a lens of embodiment, while encouraging healthy lifestyle changes along with mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

She specializes in issues related to life-stage transitions, depression, anxiety, work-life balance, stress management, relational conflict, parenting, and family stress. Kristin utilizes family systems, somatic, cognitive behavioral, mindfulness and psychodynamic theory in her practice and seeks to develop a collaborative relationship with clients.

Kristin Pederson Flores received her Master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Northwestern University. With over 15 years of experience, Kristin has worked at Psychotherapy Associates of Chicago, Lydia Counseling Center and Community Counseling Centers of Chicago. Kristin has significant experience working with adult professionals, adolescents, children, stay-at home-parents, and couples.
